Back in 2013 I was a volunteer for Wings of the Dawn, a certified Raptor Rehabilitation Center.
This Juvenile Osprey fell out of its nest and broke a leg up in Northern New Hampshire. I drove up and met a NH Fish & Game Officer who handed me the bird for me to transport the rest of the way.
I am happy to tell you that the leg was able to be pinned and set perfectly. This bird was released that fall in time for it's migration to South America.
