This is a photo representing the statue of what is known to the Wichita locals as the 'Keeper of the Plains.' The 'Keeper of the Plains,' was a chief indian of the Wichita area and history has it he put a blessing protecting the town from tornados. Metropolitan Wichita has yet to have a tornado since this Native American Indian placed his blessing.
