Along the Nevada-California border. Trying to make it to Benton Hot Springs before dark for a soak after a long day of driving all the way from Sedona, AZ. I shot this last month at the end of a road trip to photograph the eclipse in Wyoming. During the two weeks I was out, we collected a lovely photo gallery full of other beautiful landscapes in Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, California, even Nevada gets a credit for a great place to take pictures!
This photo is in Nevada! Mai and I are driving north on highway 95 at least an hour away from the above mentioned hot springs destination.
Here's the secret link to that gallery of prime landscape photography from many of the Western States. Since the main mission of the road trip was the eclipse, there's also some first-timer, butt-newbie solar eclipse photography in this gallery. My expectations weren't high, and the photos I got with my little Olympus EM-1 turned out pretty spectacular! Spectacular, yes, and yet nothing when compared with being in it's presence, experiencing the total eclipse fully. We're saving the date; April 8, 2024 to go do it again! I digress. So, sorry. http:--www.perfecthdr.com-Travel-Solar-Eclipse-2017-Southwest-Road-Trip-i-vrjLKLH-A
