Behind The Lens

Location

Here, in Fernandina Beach, FL the sunsets are usually nice and worthy of photos, but this particular photo was taken on my way home from shopping for dinner.

Time

During the sunset, the sun was layered by clouds. It seemed to blend and fade the golden color of the sun into darkness behind it.

Lighting

I didn't need to use any lighting for this photo. The sun light was perfect enough for the photo.

Equipment

The only equipment I used was my Samsung cell phone. I wish I had my Nikon J1 during this event, because I believe the photo would have given off more detail.

Inspiration

I am an artist in general, with paints and pencils, so seeing the blend of this golden color in the sky, forced me to capture the moment.

Editing

No post processing used in this photo.

In my camera bag

Usually when I have my Nikon J1 camera with me, I have my 130mm lense and my remote control for it. Extra memory cards and a lens cleaner is a must.

Feedback

Never pass up a moment to capture a spectacular photo, because chances are... you may never see it the same again.
