A cool hiking loop at Joshua Tree. This was literally, a hidden valley, where a great deal of cattle rustling went on back in the 1870's by the McHaney gang of cowboys (and cattle rustlers). Once safely inside the hidden valley acreage, they'd re-brand the cattle...and sell them in other states.
