Picture of Bád Eddie (Irish for 'Eddie's boat') which was washed up on thr shore in the 1970s during bad weather. Ironically its name was 'Cara Na Mara' (Friend of the Sea) - was not a good friendship I think.
You can only visit the boat, or what is still left of it, if the tide is out. The rest of the day it is covered by the salty water of the Atlantic. That is why it's condition gets worse every year.
When I've been there early in the morning I met a local who does kind of 'documentation' of its destruction. He told me that the destruction got quicker the last years and it might be gone in a few years. It is even possible that it will be washed away by the next heavy storm.
