Before taking this photo, I tracked the position of the moon a couple days before it was full and it showed me that the moon would naturally align with the Walton Lighthouse around 10PM. I arrived at the location about an hour before it happened to make sure I had time to set up and find the right composition. Everything went as planned so I snapped 2 photos, one for the foreground-midground and one for the moon so I could correctly balance the exposures later in post so I could portray how the actual seen looked like in real life.
