This butterfly was so hyperactive, it just wouldn't stay still for a photoshoot. I followed it around for quite a while and when it landed on these leaves, drowned in natural light, I jumped at the opportunity to get an awesome shot.

Animals never quite do what you want them to do on cue, so this shot took a lot of patience!

This flower was so tiny but I just had to snap the amazing colour and detail!

It took me a little while to wait for the right timing for this shot, but I love the detail picked up on the 'under wing' feathers.

Love, love, love the colour of this dahlia in the sunlight. Captured in the gardens of a manor house.

This was just one of those moments when what you want to happen, actually happens!
