The famous old bogie cart wheels at Seaham beach,only visible at low tide and not easy to get to. The carts were used to transport the coal dust and waste which was tipped in to the sea causing a huge environmantal impact back in the sixties. The beach has since had a massive clean up and is famous for the end scenes in the film " Get Carter "
