These baboons are part of a very large family that is perpetually growing as you can see! We had been observing them for half a day and this female on the left was trying to stay away from the rest of the clan to take care of her baby. Other baboons would sometimes try to come and snatch the baby but she would keep it close to her at all times. When the young baboon on the right came close to her, she showed him the teeth to clearly notify she was not to be bothered, which left the young baboon on the right pretty impressed; he kept staring at her like that for a couple minutes before sitting behind her.
