Time

It was a quiet afternoon.

Lighting

I wanted this photo to have an ominous and somewhat unnerving look to it. With much of the building blacked out by the looming clouds, one could find it frightening.

Equipment

I used a Samsung NX 3300 camera with its 20-50mm lens.

Inspiration

This tower is one that I frequently visit. It sometimes gives off a creative vibe, other times it looks fresh out of an anime. The day this photo was taken, it made me feel uneasy. It reminded of a horror comic I own. I absolutely had to take the shot.

Editing

There was no editing involved.

In my camera bag

I only have the NX 3300 body and the two lenses it came with (20-50mm and 50-200mm).

Feedback

Be sure your subject is mostly hidden by the light while still showing some architectural details. Zoom in or out to get past any obstructions that might get in the way of the subject. Follow your gut. If you see something that makes you anxious or just slightly unneasy, take a photo. It might be the last one you ever take. *maniacal laughter* ;)
