This photo was taken a little way up table mountain in Cape Town, I had traveled into town to photograph a property and while packing up I noticed these amazing low lying clouds funneling between the mountains so headed straight up to capture the magicTime
This photo was taken at sunset i actually shot a time lapse of this as well into the night and walked back down in the dark a little scary but what an adventure :)Lighting
I was fortunate to make it up the mountain and have a magical golden light cast over the clouds and reflect through the wild African grass at sunsetEquipment
I used a canon 650 d that my mom won and gave to me, it has been an amazing positive impact on my lifeInspiration
Seeing the unique clouds and moody lighting got my attention and nothing was going to stop me getting a closer lookEditing
I used light room to do some basic minimal adjusting to get the look i was going forIn my camera bag
I only have 1 camera the 650 d that my mom had won and gave to me i also have a manfrotto 501 tripod I also try to bring along my dji phantom 2 for aerial and have a muvi that pans 360 over a hr very basic, have used a few times with my phone to get some time-lapse panoramic'sFeedback
When you see something that captures your eye do what ever you can, to get out there, then at that moment. look for unique perspectives that interest you and gets a frame filled with amazing scenery and spend as much time as you can trying all sorts of setting and angels then go back and work on your photos this is a great way to learn the craft and have fun
