This photograph was taken on the shores of the river, in Port Macquarie , New South Wales, Australia. A hot fishing spot these beautiful creatures flock in numbers to eat the fish that is left behind by the fisherman.Time
Early evening on a cold winters day. I only had an hour of sun light left when I saw the Pelicans swimming to shore.Lighting
There was just an hour of light left but it made for such a soft beautiful time of day that complimented the Pelicans' beautifully.Equipment
I always have my Sony Camera on me. This day I also had my sony 16-35mm zoom lens and a Manual focus 85mm that I like to play with. I found the Pelican's by a happy accident and was glad I had my camera with me.Inspiration
