Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo during an adventure visit with my mum to Perth last winter.I was a self learnt photographer so every photo taken whether it turns out good or bad it is a lesson learnt to me.

Time

This photo was taken in the cold and sunny morning in the Kalbarri national park.I travelled an 8 hours drive just to capture this beautiful work piece.

Lighting

When I see this image I tend to see it like an open door to a picturesque place. With the help of a little natural sunlight it makes this image turns out great and the surrounding framing stone to looks beautiful

Equipment

I used a my favourite Canon 700D with the lens of 18-135mm in the focal length of 18/1 and aperture of f4.5,ISO200 and also not to forget an exposure of 1/800

Inspiration

This stone has billions years of history and it was formed during the dinasour age therefore when I take a look at this stone its not just stone to me but it was a really beautiful glittering stone with bright brown that it almost looks like it's red in colour when the sun shines on it.It somehow looks like a window it gave me a different view when I look through the hole from this stone rather than just looking at the surounding around it does not seems like how majestic it looks through the stone.Well, this has thought me to look at things differently in every ways rather than just seeing what it was suppose to be.

Editing

Well,I just adjusted the exposure of the image

In my camera bag

The first thing that I always have with me is of course an extra battery live pack and a macro lens and also a 35-220mm lens.A few extra memory cards is essential to me too.

Feedback

It doesn't matter whether you're a professional photographer or a amateur photographer but the best camera you can own is your eyes where camera is just a companion to your eyes to capture everything that you see down.Always remember there's no limits in photography, everything that you see is always a kick start of a good photo.
