This trip to visit the famous dark hedges in Northern was somewhat underwhelming and disappointing. The hedges were nowhere near as grand as I had expected them to be, and I would largely put this down to the effects of tourism and vandalism. It's sad really because otherwise they would be such a beautiful landmark.
