This photo was taken in my front yard where I have a huge Star Jasmine planted, they are every where here in Florida. I'm working on getting a camera to capture the class of photos I'd like to produce but currently unfortunately I'm only able to use my mobile phone.Time
I remember taking this photo about late morning. Caught him jumping across the driveway towards the star jasmine so I followed him. These grasshoppers like to jump and spit at you so I approached slowly but was caught by him just as he climb on the leaves and he turned to threaten me. I snapped the photo just before he lunged at me. Love the colors but not the attitude.Lighting
The lighting was actually perfect as the sun was beginning to move over the star jasmine.Equipment
Sadly I only have a mobile phone. I'm working to hopefully improve my photography with better equipment.Inspiration
I haven't seen many photos of grasshoppers. So I had to see if I could capture one with such color.Editing
I used an mobile phone app which I adjusted the contrast and sharpness a bit. Didn't require alot.In my camera bag

Without better equipment, I just watch for location, weather, lighting and subject in order to satisfy what I want to achieve only having to make slight adjustments if any.
