The Mylin's were one of the first settlers in the Willow Street, PA area. Nice find!

Behind The Lens

Location

Cemetery in Willow Street, Pa.

Time

Approximately 1P.M.

Lighting

As you can see it was a partially cloudy day.

Equipment

Camera was a Nikon D3300 with the 18-55mm kit lens. An infared filter was attached. No flash was used and an old video tripod was used.

Inspiration

My friend was taking photos in the area to update people he grew up with on the changes in the last 50 years. I wanted to spend some time learning about infared photography, so I did.

Editing

Very little post processing other than cropping was done on this photo.

In my camera bag

Nikon D3300, Nikon flash (SB28), various filters, a cable release, and a tripod.

Feedback

Don't be afraid to experiment with new equipment (IR filter) and always strive to be your best.
