Blighia sapida; Jamaican national dish ackee and cod fish. Fruit is toxic until rind opens and seeds are always toxic. Also grown in south Florida. I always thought the scientific name funny, Capt. Bligh's sap. Jamaican vomiting sickness is linked to eating improperly opened fruit. Back in the 80's I had to tell stores to return canned ackees by FDA orders.
