Hastings Pier has been burnt down in 2010. It took years to rebuild it. This photo is a historical documentation of the derelict state of the pier before renovation. The sea is stormy, the waves are working hard on the structure of the pier. The rainbow brings hope for a better future which the pier has since its re-opening in 2016.
