Best image I’ve seen today. Clearly, keenly, focused on youth, the game of life, growth and maturation, and with it a nostalgia for a simpler, more carefree time. Baseballs with raised seams as here are most commonly used for beginner pitchers, casual play and instruction purposes. Maybe this particular, well used ball carries a singular meaning — someone’s first big hit, catch, or throw perhaps. So many possibilities to consider. I’m captivated by it. And isn’t that the whole idea . . .
