While in San Diego working for Ironman-Competitor Group on their Rock n Roll Marathon Series, I had some downtime to go explore. I wanted to go relax on the beach but that turned into me photographing everything i could. I went under the pier and watched the tides coming in. I took a couple shots and got closer. Did that a few times till i was about 8 feet from the furthest point where the tide came on shore. The next tide was the one that is pictured. This was super intense as the water rushed up hitting the pier beams shooting water everywhere. Not to mention i was soaked after this shot. After getting back to my room i seen this photo and made it all worth it!
