Another one of Englands mystery's why were these white horses put into the hillside around Wiltshire.? The chalky hillside around Wiltshire has quite a few of them , no one really knows why and who put them there. Maybe a fertility right.This one was taken at Pewsey where I used to live as a small child , its never changed . I thank God that no one has vandalized them.I took this in sepia just how my father did back in the 60s .
