Have you tried this as b&w

I have done but it does to me loose some of the effect with the browns and greys, Funny really because today I am playing with different colour effect and you point out B&W, uncanny. By using the slight colour I found it does bring out more of the detail, although I could go B&W and add lots of contrast for effect. Thanks for the comment keep watching I may do one of the other pictures of this wolf as you suggested.
