Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture near a dam where these electricity towers were being installed. I captured the image from exactly beneath the tower, the cables were not installed so there was no risk going beneath the tower.

Time

Me and my friend went for a ride near the dam, and i took my camera with me as i usually carry it to most places to capture pictures when i saw this tower about 10-15 metres away the road side, it was around 4:00 pm

Lighting

Though it was a cloudy day but the lighting was perfect. And the patterns of the clouds fascinated me. Covering the whole sky towards left and cracking apart while diminishing as movie towards right.

Equipment

I used a Canon 1200D with the 18mm-55mm stock Lens .

Inspiration

I was just looking up towards the tower and observing it closely as i have never observed these before, and suddenly the idea of clicking swifted in my mind when i say this beautiful geometrical pattern.

Editing

I adjusted the exposure levels and sharpen the image a little.

In my camera bag

I use Canon 1200D with 18mm-55mm kit lens and 50mm-250mm telephoto lens.

Feedback

Always keep in mind that "the farther the edges of the geometrical pattern from the edges of your desired frame the more difficult it becomes to judge and capture the geometry with perfect parallel lines". So always try to keep atleast one edge of the geometrical pattern near to the edges of your desired frame to capture perfect parallel lines.
