Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the Air Mobility Command Museum, located in Dover Air Force Base.

Time

Taken on a cloudy day Saturday, June 4, 2016. Wow, I can't believe this photo was taken two years ago! It shows that a photo can really withstands the tests of time.

Lighting

I loved how I was able to capture the clouds, and the reflection it gave on the nose of the plane. It gives the viewer a sense of being in the air.

Equipment

This photo was taken with a Nikon D7000.

Inspiration

I was hoping that I could capture the glory of this plane. It's was so huge! I raised my camera above my head; I'm 5 ft 10 with long arms, and I used my arms as my own selfie stick LOL. I even was on my tippy-toes.

Editing

Yes, I raised the contrast a little to give the clouds definition.

In my camera bag

Nikon camera, external flash, Iphone lenses, extra batteries and SD cards, water, and snacks.

Feedback

No matter where you travel, always have a camera with you, because you will never no what you might capture. It only takes a second to miss something. Photography is a way to capture history and time, and its that opportunity that you can share with others.
