This butterfly flew into our house. I took some photos - it even landed on my hand briefly - then I managed to point it to the window and watched it flutter away ???? The underside of the wings of this otherwise beautifully-coloured butterfly are completely plain - dark brown and black - to provide camouflage when the butterfly is resting - this is why this particular butterfly rests with its wings folded.
