This shot was a combination of three shots. One with F22, 3 minutes exposure for the right side of the image. One F22, 7 minutes exposure for the water in the middle and a F5.6, 1.5 minutes exposure for the background and left side. All with a Canon 24mm lens with a ND1000 filter on the top.
Why I did this even for the background and stones on the right is to really bring out every color I can possibly get out that a "normal" photo can't "see"! And it also makes leaves and other things more blury that enhance a short of dream quality to the picture.
