I would like to extend a huge thank you and appreciation to the number of friends and family that have gone out of their way lately to tell me how much you appreciate the images I post. Each one is a work of love, and it makes me proud to have had so many people tell me they are really enjoying my work. A little secret: I'm not always the best at accepting compliments, especially when caught completely off guard; but please know your comments have meant a great deal to me.

This image is of an African sunrise, taken the first morning I spent in the bush in South Africa. It really is as magical a moment as the movies always make it out to be. Every sunrise and sunset there was absolutely stunning and never disappointed us for stopping the jeep to watch it rise or set.
