I photographed these back in 2011 during a 2 week trip to Altai in Russia.
Altai region as beautiful as it was, has also not been much explored by tourists. I enjoyed the peace in the mountains.
In is not very common in Europe in the Alps or other major mountains to trek for few days and just meet 1 group of people per day. And if you meet some people next day, it is going to be the same ones. This shot was made from exactly such a full day hike, when we did not meet a single person those whole day.
