Milky Way Over Lindisfarne Castle

I wanted to go out and do some star trails tonight but I'm too tired. I still haven't recovered from the aurora hunting trip to Holy Island on Thursday night so I thought I would have a play around in Photoshop and make a composite image.

The foreground layer was taken on my recent trip to the island. This is facing an easterly direction so the milky way wouldn't normally be in this position. You would have to be on the left side of the castle and face south to have the milky way in shot. This unfortunately wouldn't be a flattering view of the castle so I thought id add the milky way in from this point of view.
The background sky layer was taken on a trip to Germany in 2013.
