Young bucks at rest beneath Glencoe. There were some does near too. I chanced my luck by laying facedown on the sward, letting them get used to me and inching ever so slowly not making eye contact. My theory was that being vulnerable, low and slightly downhill from them would not be seen as any kind of a challenge. It worked as far as this point, about 8 metres away, when the regal look he gave me as he began to rise here said that's far enough. Click and scarper....
