This imposing statue is a 12-feet tall representation of the ferocious Hindu deity Kal Bhairav. A manifestation of Shiva, he is associated with annihilation. Translated from the Sanskrit his name means 'terrible' or 'frightful'. He carries various weapons, wears snakes, is accompanied by a black dog, carries dozens of skulls, and is standing on the corpse of a man.
