Location

This photo was taken at a beach near my home by the lake. My dog (Zeus) was tired from running back and forth that afternoon in the sand and water

Time

This photo was taken late afternoon on a nice sunny day.

Lighting

It was a nice sunny day, there were a few clouds in the sky but it was a beautiful day to be out taking pictures of my dogs

Equipment

This was shot with a Nikon D7200 with a 50mm f1.8 lens

Inspiration

This is one of my favourite places to bring my camera while we let the dogs run around on the beach, it was a nice afternoon and Zeus had laid down after a lot of playing and he decided to watch my spouse fish.

Since taking this picture I have acquired some new equipment, I love walking around with my 24-85mm f3.5-4.5 Nikon lens it has such an amazing range and takes beautiful pictures, I always keep my 50mm f.18 in my bag, and have recently acquired a Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 that is amazing.

Feedback

My luck with taking pictures of my animals is due to me knowing their behaviour and attitude and I can figure out when an interesting picture will arise. I always have my camera ready and available when I'm looking to get an interesting picture and try to get down to their eye level so as to see things from there perspective.
