Overview of the Ocean of Storms as seen during the Waning Gibbous Moon of the 14th July 2017.
A Dobsonian Newton Telescope Orion XT8 203-1200 together with an Explore Scientific eyepiece 82° 11mm was used, hence ensuring a magnification factor of x109. The afocal technique was used with a Samsung SM-G386F mobile phone mounted on the eyepiece. The final image has been built from of a mosaique of 3 shots.
