This picture was taken at Tybee Island near Savannah, Georgia. Tybee Island is one of my favorite places in the world.Time
This picture was taken around 3:00pm. I was taking a stroll along the beach watching some children build a sand castle in the distance.Lighting
I wanted this image to tell a story. When I took it, the sun was shining, but not really bright. I only used natural light to capture this moment.Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon D50, with a 50mm f/1.4 Lens.. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
I wanted to capture a photograph that encouraged you to get lost in deep thought and bring the viewers peace. My trip to Tybee Island that day was a time for me to clear my heard. I do my best thinking near the water.Editing
The white balance of this photo was spot on, but I love color so I punched the luminosity of the blue and sharpened the photo.In my camera bag
