Just after sunrise on Big Musquash Stream in Grand Lake Stream, ME.

While coastal Maine is very popular, and for good reason, there are many beautiful places in far less visited sections of the state. We just returned from a trip to a little town called Grand Lake Stream in Northeastern Maine. The population was 109 at the 2010 census. I spent three consecutive mornings at this location and came away with completely different results each day. I always find it interesting to return to the same locations, not only for familiarity, but to see it change with varying weather conditions.
