This was taken in the late morning hours...Baby was fed and content. He was just a couple weeks and my cousin wanted to capture some newborn moments so I offered to help. So glad I did because this lil gem is one of my favorite captures!Lighting

After observing a couple newborn sessions with my own baby, I was inspired to help my cousin capture a couple newborn shots of her son.Editing
I used a little leveling to correct and brighten some of the lighting and maintain the baby’s radiant complexion and deep blue eyes.In my camera bag
Just my camera and a few baby props...sometimes less is best. It’s all about making the most out of minimal moments.Feedback
I just used props that I had lying around and asked that the baby come with a swaddle blanket. In this case a sheepskin rug that I purchased worked great as a simple backdrop with soft texture.
