that photo was taken at the beach during an unexpectedly rainy day. it was my first grown up trip to Ireland. it's near Portsalon in county Donegal.Time
it was close to noon, and it's still a picture I deeply love. it was actually a very windy morning. I wandered around the beach, looking for a possible models to shot when I found that man swimming. not sure how to actually take the photo, I did it anyway and it turned out to be one of my best shots from that trip. it means so much to me, that the community appreciates it.Lighting
the morning was rainy since it was soon after the storm and the rain's been hanging in the air so I wasn't sure the lighting wouldn't be ruined because of the heavy clouds.Equipment
I used the simplest camera, my first one.Inspiration
I loved the colours of the sand, the blue-green water and a lone figure that beautifully merged the mountain with the water.Editing
nope. I never do anything more than play with the colours in general, but that picture was left untouched. In my camera bag
I used to use my Canon whenever possible, then there was a Zenit & Smena phase and now I moved to my new Canon.Feedback
I would recommend just having your eyes open to nature and people, wandering around with a camera can prove to be very useful.
