This was taken at the derelict Wilkes station, Antarctica in the middle of Winter where sunlight only appears for a couple of hours each day. The dome is the old radio Theodolite dome. The effect is pretty simple, myself, a torch, a bit of string attached to the torch and a few hours of me nearly knocking myself out in the process of swinging it around my head...
