I went on an 11 day Himalayan trek just to see clear skies. But clouds and the full moon played spoilsport for the first 10 days. Finally on the very last day of my trek, I saw a beautiful, clear night sky at Bandhak thatch, Himachal Pradesh, India. I immediately got my tripod out and shot this image, which took me about 3 hours in total, but when I look at this image now, it makes me feel that the 11 day expedition was completely worth the pain.
