Taken on summer solstice 2017. I finally found a composition that I haven't seen taken before. Mt. Tallac in South Lake Tahoe, ca is an iconic landmark with its famous "cross" engraved on it. Hiked through 8"-10" of water, ran into a bear and a porcupine and finally came across a field of beauty.

Here is a photo I decided to take. A daisy on fire? Why not, the fuel is denatured alcohol, shot actually outside in nearly pitch black.

The crescent moon lined up with this lone tree in middle of a meadow. Backed with a gorgeous background, I couldn't walk past this shot.
