I won't ever forget this moment. It was the first time I had been to Lushoto, in the Northeastern part of Tanzania. It definitely wasn't the most comfortable road trip up the mountains but it most definitely was worth the time. A night in, I couldn't sleep much; I was up early and decided to take a walk, with my camera, thinking I'd see something interesting. I went behind the hotel and past a couple village houses, and came out to this viewpoint. It was surrounded by mountains, but in the distance I could see the plains that held the land captive. It was a beautiful morning and probably one of the shots I am most impressed with.
