Just past dawn in Fulton, Texas as a group of women cleaned fish on the pier above the water, scads of brown pelicans and gulls fought for the offal thrown down to the gather throng. Fights broke out, water flew and dripped, wings fluttered and I snapped the picture. A capture of chaos and glorious activity as the rising sun caught on the wings.
