I spent all day building this snow cave on a cold day in late January. I camped out all night, hoping to see an aurora. It got down to -25 degrees that night, it was so cold that one of my tripod legs snapped off! Luckily I was able to take this shot first. This picture was taken outside of Coldfoot Camp in Northern Alaska.
