Location
This shot was taken in a lake in the city of Florianópolis (Brazil). I usualy make fotos in external areas.Time
It was around 9am almost 10am, the light was starting to get harder and i make the shot only with the natural light, trying to be hardness.Lighting
I wanted that was sexy, so i choose a hardness light, making everything more strongEquipment
I used a Nikon D7000 and a 18mm - 105mm f/3.5-5.6, without any other equipament. Camera on the hand,Inspiration
I was making a photoshoot to a web site, and we was finishing at this time cause de light time, but then i decide to make this photo exactly cause of the light at this time. Was something like "let me try this last shot", and was the best picture of the photoshoót and the cover of the article on this web site.Editing
I just change to black and white and then some softness in the skin, more contrast to make de shadows tronger, a litlle bit of higlights and more contrast in the sky.In my camera bag
Just the camera (nikon D7000) and a 50mm f1.8 and the a 18mm - 105mm f3.6-5.6. Some filter, like UV, ND. Basicly this.Feedback
You must always keep the eye on the light, it is always changing. This is not a dificult shot, but you must be awake to see the changes and the right time.
