Location
In Victoria, near Geelong is the Bellarine Peninsula, at one end of the Peninsula is at small town known as St Leonards. There is a fabulous pier that is an F shape, on the outside of the pier is a wall of rocks, to protect the boats using the area. On all of the pier pylons there are lots of sponges and other marine creatures such as Nudibranchs and crabs, to name a couple. As this pier is a haven for so many marine critters and plant life, it has become a favourite sport for Scuba divers to dive, taking photographs. This Sea horse was hiding in the shelter of the rock wall in a shallow section of the pier.Time

I am always looking for great shots of marine critters, this was one of the few good ones I have been able to take.Editing
No post processing, the shot is as the camera took it.In my camera bag
I am a new novice underwater photographer, I only have my camera and housing set up on a double arm tray to take either 2 video lights or one light and a strobe. I have 2 cameras now, Canon G1X which is great for wide angle shots and an Olympus Tough 8010 camera and housing set up on a double arm tray and either 2 video lights or one video light and a strobe. Depending on the dive I am planning to do, I take either camera. Both are excellent cameras.Feedback
Have patience, there are so many variables underwater. As with all photography, the more pictures you take, the higher the chance of getting that one great shot.
