Parkes Radio Telescope and visitor's centre. This is the telescope featured in the movie "The Dish". It had an integral part in the moon landing. I loved that I caught the moon rising over the dish (tiny as it looks). I thought it told the story of the place beautifully. Still operates 24 hours a day. The visitors centre and gardens are free to visit and beautiful and interesting.
