Back in 2012, I received my first DSLR as a gift after practicing with my mom’s since I was old enough to hold it. This was one of my very first images and clearly I had not even figured out how to remove the time stamp! 9 years later, I photograph full time and have multiple cameras I love and I even know how to remove the time stamp from all of them!

Time

Around 2pm

Lighting

All natural light in a very well-lit apartment. Wish I still had that!

Equipment

Nikon 3100...that’s all!

Inspiration

I was excited to practice on my very first DSLR!

Editing

Tried to remove the time stamp to no avail. That’s all!

In my camera bag

Then? A camera with a strap! Now, my camera, two lenses, SB, Alien Bee w/ vagabond, pocket wizards, batteries, light filters, lens cleaners, mini tripod, magic tricks, snacks, ok just kidding—but too much! Sometimes simple is better!
