While driving around Mt. Desert Island, I had just finished telling my fiancée that when on an empty road, I try to keep my eyes open for wildlife and that I've been known to lock up the brakes to stop for a shot. While she was still chuckling and shaking her head at me, I saw a raptor's silhouette in the trees. I locked up the brakes, and a few quick shots before he flew away ensued.
I got back in the car; she looked at me and said "You didn't have to prove it, I believed you."
