Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in my own home.

Time

It was early evening just after sunset in late winter.

Lighting

Using natural or actual lighting in your own home, you can achieve the same effect as if it was all set up with studio lighting, which can take a longer time to create.

Equipment

Nikon CoolPix L360 macro setting, hand held, no flash needed.

Inspiration

I had accidentally knocked over a vase full of these white roses on a coffee table in my own home. Luckily the vase, and the flowers survived without damage. The water drops on the petals inspired me to shoot in black and white with macro for full effect. I believe I achieved what I saw with my own eyes.

Editing

Not much post-processing. Just a little enhancement for drops to be seen more clearer.

In my camera bag

I use both of my cameras when the right situation is needed. Nikon CoolPix L360 or Nikon D3300.

Feedback

Always shoot what inspires you ...ALL OF THE TIME!
